| "Jackson Lake Serenity" has won the Region III award in the prestigious 2009 Paint the Parks competition. "Serenity" will be touring to several galleries in 2009 and 2010 with the other Top 100 winners from the competition. It is a watercolor painting of mule deer at Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park. Reference photos were taken to create the painting while she visited the park to attend the awards banquet for the Arts for the Parks competition. Her painting "A Gift From the Navajos" won a Top 100 award in their final year. |
